This is a photo of my Celestron CG-11 telescope, set up in preparation for photographing the 3 April 1996 lunar eclipse. Mounted on the CG-11 is a Vivitar 500mm F6.3 telephoto lens (which was used to take many of the photos in the photo gallery). Observing site was the end of the road for a new housing site in Salem, CT, USA (Emerald Glenn).
